</h3></header><p>die Zahl der Schwimmbäder in Deutschland nimmt ab, die Schwimmausbildung wird zunehmend schwieriger. Jetzt übergab die DLRG in Berlin ihre Petition „Rettet die Bäder!“ an den Petitionsausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages. Über 130.000 Unterzeichnende fordern eine angemessene und nachhaltige Bäderversorgung, damit auch in Zukunft Menschen das Schwimmen lernen und die Möglichkeit bezahlbarer sozialer Angebote erhalten bleibt. Per Rettungsboot fuhr der DLRG-Präsident, Achim Haag, am frühen Nachmittag über die Spree direkt zum Paul-Löbe-Haus, um einen Teil der Unterschriften offiziell an Marian Wendt, Vorsitzender des Petitionsausschusses, und Vertretern aus der Bundespolitik zu überreichen. Mit im Gepäck hatte Haag fast 20.000 „Rote Karten“, die aus einer vormaligen Unterschriftenaktion der DLRG stammen. Die übrigen Unterschriften haben die Lebensretter seit Herbst vergangenen Jahres über die Online-Plattform openPetition gesammelt.
